The Operations Centre of FGC (COR) is located in Rubí, a town near Barcelona. It is the neuralgic centre of the operation and maintenance of FGC lines and trains. It includes a depot, a rolling stock workshop in charge of first level maintenance of Barcelona – Vallès trains and second level maintenance of all FGC’s passenger trains, and a permanent way workshop. In addition, the facilities include the integrated control centre, driving simulators and an exhibition area with heritage rolling stock. This is FGC’s main operating facility, working 24/7 to ensure safety, continuous and reliable operations and an efficient maintenance of infrastructures and trains.
