One year to go!

Next year, UITP will host the Global Public Transport Summit in Stockholm (9-12 June 2019) making this week the official ‘one year to go’ countdown!

 The theme for the 2019 edition is “The Art of Public Transport”.

UITP’s biennial Summit, organised in partnership with 2019 local host SL, is the only event that covers the challenges of urban mobility worldwide and brings together the international public transport community, mobility decision-makers and industry suppliers under one roof.

As things stand, UITP is well on the way to our biggest ever exhibition with over 70 per cent of the total space sold and 110 stands already booked.

Exhibitors already confirmed include GIRO, VDL, Volvo Bus Corporation and Solaris Bus & Coach.

What visitors can expect come June 2019 is an exhibition with over 330 exhibitors covering 40,000m2 of exhibition space, hosting around 13,000 visitors during the course of the Summit.

Our Summit exhibition is the ideal meeting place to interact, exchange ideas, and discover the industry’s latest innovations, products and solutions.

During the previous edition of our Summit (Montreal, 9-12 May 2017), over 320 exhibitors took advantage of the outstanding opportunity to present their work, development new partnerships and investments and be part of the world’s biggest event dedicated to public transport and sustainable mobility.

Alongside our Exhibition, we will host a world-class Conference with a diverse programme full of industry-leading sessions and international speakers from the sector.

Our sessions will include transport ministers, mayors, business developers, industry CEOs and urban visionaries.
