Be-In Be-Out Ticketing Scheme for Public Transportation In a Megacity ‘Seoul’

Tmoney's Tagless Solution based on a Bluetooth Low Energy("BLE") technology has allowed a Be-In and Be-Out ticketing scheme in public transportation for the first time in the world, running its CBT (Closed Beta Test) successfully in Seoul metro stations in 2022. Further to its recent success on the pilot project, it has expanded its milestones in an integrated manner to implement the state-of-the-art technology into public buses which has much more sophisticated environments than subway gate settings. It is expected to implement on all metro stations and buses in one of the major megacities 'Seoul' in the near future. In this session, it discusses about the best practices of 'Be-In Be-Out' that acts as an enabler for the public transport to become more accessible and fully contactless in this New Normal era.
