David was a vocal and successful public transport activist from the age of 17 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Redesigned bus networks, new tram projects were launched as a result of their advocacy. After that, he continued on the official side: he was the first, founding CEO of BKK, Budapest’s integrated public transport and road authority and served for 4 years in that role. Since then, he was the director general of the Hungarian Transport Museum, CEO of Budapest Development Agency, a state authority promoting and managing regional rail investments around the capital and served as Secretary for Transport in the Hungarian Government. Today he works as an independent public transport consultant helping cities locally and internationally in improving customer experience, governance, quality of their public transport systems.
