Hitachi Rail Mobility Orchestrator supporting PTAs and PTOs to reach their sustainability targets
In order to increase ridership and decarbonize Public Transport (decrease due to COVID-19), Hitachi Rail has developed a Mobility Orchestrator Platform; it correlates information coming from all the existing public transport systems (Rail/Bus Traffic Management System, Smart Ticketing, Smart Parking, etc), supplying value-added services that can benefit both PTA/PTO (reduce congestion, pollution, etc..) and passengers (encouraged to use PT). The Platform facilitates Smart Mobility at 360°, providing services to enhance and efficient multimodal mobility management, improving the schedule management of the transport routes, the people flow across the stations and into the vehicles, efficient management of E-Buses, etc. An efficient public transport system will encourage people to return to public transport.
