    Automation of Copenhagen suburban network

The Copenhagen S-Network is an old but highly performing network with 300.000 daily passengers. The need for replacement of the train fleet as well as an increasingly need for capacity has led to a political decision for a fully automated operation. The Copenhagen suburban network will be transformed from a GOA2 operation to a GOA4 operation. Being a brownfield project in an open and densely populated area brings a lot of challenges.
