Jen Shepherd leads Uber’s Global Transit business, partnering with cities and transit agencies, with the goal of making public transit more accessible and easier to use. Jen and her team are passionate about helping transit agencies achieve their goals around improved equity and access, increased ridership and better customer experience, and reduced costs and greater operations flexibility. Previously, Jen led Uber’s Southeast US operations for micromobility and delivery businesses.
Prior to joining Uber, Jen held leadership positions across operations, strategy, and finance in the freight, consumer products, and homebuilding industries. Jen earned a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard.
