Gudrun Senk is an executive manager with extensive experience in the energy, sustainability and mobility sector. She holds a diploma in International Business Studies and a technical post-graduate degree in Sustainable Energy Systems. Ms Senk has extensive business experience from her work in consulting, stock exchange listed companies as well as public authorities. In November 2022 she became Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of Wiener Linien, Vienna’s public transport provider.
Prior to joining Wiener Linien, Gudrun Senk has been Senior Vice President at Wien Energie for 13 years, the largest regional energy provider in Austria, where she oversaw Asset Development, Realization and Management. She was also Managing Director of the Vienna Hydrogen Company, member of several advisory boards and representative in general assemblies of subsidiaries. Mrs. Senk is committed to promoting sustainable mobility and combating climate change using innovative vehicle technology and circular economy in the construction sector.
