Alejandro SCHMIDT GARÍN

Civil Engineer with a diplomma in Transportation Engineering and Logistics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Science in Transportation from the same university. He leads the team in charge of providing all the technological platforms for the metropolitan transit system: fleet management, real time passenger information, ticketing, data management and governance, among others. He previously worked for Transit, a start-up focused on improving reliablity in public transport operations through technology and as a consultant for the Centre for Sustainable Urban Development(CEDEUS) in topics such as public transport operations and policy.
