Graduated as a Telecommunications and Electronics engineer at Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona (UPC). Completed a Masters degree in Projects Management. Holds an MBA from UPF Barcelona School of Management.
Developed his career in mobility sector joining TMB as a Program Manager for automated metro lines, commissioning L9/L10 (GoA4) and L11 conversion (ATO to GoA3). Held different postions in the Organization as Strategics Projects Manager, and as a Director of Railway Projects (signalling and metro infrastructure), with L5 & L4 extensions projects and L4 regisnalling to CBTC. Now helping TMB in the Digital Transformation endeavour. Has consulted for several operators and authorities around the world about metro automation.
Founding member and Secretary of UITP’s Observatory of Automated Metros, now Secretary of UITP’s Electical Installations and Safety Systems Subcommittee. Participated in International EU projects like NGTC (Next Generation Train Control). He teaches in several postgraduate programmes at university developing young professionals in operations management and digital transformation.
