Raphaël René-Bazin is Secretary General of the RATP Group Foundation, which supports local projects of general interest in favour of equal opportunities in access to employment, education and culture, as well as the challenges of the ecological transition.
He holds an engineering degree from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC). He joined the RATP in 1993 in project development, then worked in territorial development (2001-2008), and became head of communications for the group’s projects (2008-2013). From 2013 to 2021, he was Director of RATP’s territorial Agency in Paris, which facilitates the development of the Group’s activities and projects in relation to its stakeholders. He then joined the UITP’s Transport and Urban Life Commission, where he is currently vice-chair.
