    Road Safety and Universal Accesibility

Road safety is a major problem in cities. Near 1.3 million people die yearly because of this. Cities should be designed for everyone from children to elders and everyone in between, this approach means that we need more spaces designed for people an not for cars since public space is scarce and it has to be redistributed among everyone. We all have the same right on public space. Designing citis from a road safety perspective allow public spaces to has universal accesibility.
