Jean-Philippe Peuziat graduated from both Sciences-Po Strasbourg and the College of Europe in Bruges with majors in EU politics, law and economics. He started his career in 2006 as Transport Policy officer at the common EU representation office of the French Regions Bretagne – Pays de la Loire – Poitou-Charentes in Brussels before joining in 2012 the European Association of Train-builders et rail equipment manufacturers (UNIFE) where he acted as Head of the Public Affairs unit. In 2021 he moved to Paris and joined the French Association of Public and Rail Transport (UTP) where he leads the Public and EU Affairs departement.
UTP represents all urban transport operators as well as railway undertakings (for both passengers and freight) and rail infrastructure managers that are present throughout the entire French territory.
