Dr. Laia Pagès studied civil engineering at INSA (Tououse, France) and did a Master and a Phd at the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Irvine, US.
She worked for six years for the Catalan Public Administration doing road safety research in Barcelona, Spain and nine years in two different consultancy companies in Stuttgart, Germany.
Currently she is working for CARNET, the Future Mobility Research HUB, initiated by SEAT, Volkswagen Group Research and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). It is an open hub for industrial and academic partners from the areas of automotive and mobility research & innovation. CARNET is located in Barcelona, and works through project-based collaboration.
