I joined TMB in 1988 as an engineer in Remote Control Systems department of Metro. After that I was manager of several maintenance and projects departments of all technical areas. I have participated in the major changes of the metro network, introducing automation an adapting the installations and practices to the needs of operation and driverless lines. My main objective has been to provide the best metro service with limited costs. To achieve this I introduced technical improvements, RAMS, obsolescence and asset management, monitoring systems and change processes. My current position at TMB is Head of Digitalization and Innovation of Metro, with the mission of contributing to Metro’s evolution with digitalisation and technological strategy to achieve the best possible service, quality and safety goals. I’m a graduate of La Salle BCN. After being a member of UITP’s EISS subcommittee since 2005 I am currently its Chairman.
