Born, raised and educated in US near Chicago, with further studies in South Africa, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Paris and Geneva, Switzerland. Earned B.A. in political science from Smith College, M.A. in business strategy & communications from American University in Washington D.C.
Career in portfolio management, first with private style Swiss bank, then as entrepreneur, creating and managing a finance firm with two partners, finally as Partner in larger firm. Appointed Chair of Board of tpg (transports publics genevois – Geneva public transport) in 2016 by the State Council (executive power of canton of Geneva). Top concerns include governance, innovation and women on boards. Development of mass transit is a vital part of fighting climate change, but also plays an essential role in economic and gender equality.
