Erdal Sabri Ergen is Deputy Secretary General of Transport and Urban Development at the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean since 2nd November 2021. Prior to his current assignment, he served as a Turkish career diplomat in various capacities, including in Kyrgyzstan and Norway. He also worked for the Coordinator of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe and in the NATO International Staff. His latest assignments were Consul General in Mumbai, India and then Ambassador in N’Djamena, Chad.
