George Moreno Delgado was born in 1967 in Viana do Castelo. He is Portugal Secretary of State for urban mobility
Graduated in Civil Engineering and Doctor in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto
He is the author and co-author of several magazine publications and scientific and technical books in the area of civil engineering structures, with special emphasis on the area of structural safety.
Between 2008 and 2012, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Metro do Porto SA.
Between 2016 and 2017, he assumed the role of non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto, S.A..
In 2016, he began his duties as non-executive Chairman of TIP- Transportes Intermodais do Porto and as Executive Chairman of Metro do Porto SA., functions he held until February 2019.
He was Secretary of State for Infrastructure in the XXI and XXII Constitutional Governments.
