Civil Engineer with a specialization in Transportation at the Universidad de Chile with a master’s degree in engineering sciences. With expertise in managing finances, he oversees the financial aspects of Santiago’s public transport system. His responsibilities include administering the annual budget of 1.4 billion USD in both short and long-term perspectives. He focuses on strategic investments in zero-emission vehicles and power supply contracts, as well as efficiently allocating funds to support operational and maintenance requirements. He is also a researcher and lecturer with over ten years teaching microeconomics and doing research focused on pricing and optimal design of public transport networks.
