Dr Henriette Cornet is leading the Thematic Area of Automated Mobility at UITP (International Association of Public Transport) in Brussels, Belgium. She graduated as a Material Engineer in 2007 in France and received her doctoral degree from the Technical University of Munich in 2012.

After 5 years as a consultant for the automotive industry in Germany, she worked for 3 years in the research institute TUMCREATE in Singapore as Principal Investigator of the team ‘Design for Autonomous Mobility’. Her expertise is in Automated Mobility, investigating the benefits, limitations, and requirements of the technology from a multi-stakeholder perspective, with the citizen and the mobility service at the center.
