Michal Cieslik is a security specialist with extensive and long-standing experience in national and international environment. Starting from 2017, he acted as Head of Department Security and Service and Head of Chief Security Office / Chief Security Officer of the company. In 2019, Michal took over the role of vice-chair of the UITP Security Committee. Michal is former staff officer of the Austrian Armed Forces (CBRN, Intelligence).

    Protection of Critical Infrastracture (CI) – Physical security in PTOs

    Due to the domino effect of possible CI malfunctions, a collaborative and systematic multi-stakeholder approach to critical infrastructure protection needs to be established. This presentation will focus on aspects of physical security in public transport and the protection of PTO premises as critical infrastructure. It highlights the need and the obligation for accurate and sufficient protection and activities in terms of security as well as the impact and implications on several dimensions of PTOs and operational resilience.
