After living and working in Brussels for many years (as a telecommunications engineer), Juan founded GeoActio and Ityneri, which have grown to become one of the main players in the field of ITS solutions in Spain and Latin America.
Since 2008, we have been trying to find entrepreneurial ways to make public transport smarter and more sustainable, first with apps (a novelty at the time) and now with Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (all on cloud-native platforms).
As CEO, he now spends the majority of my time overseeing our steady growth and learning new technologies.

June 07: Leveraging AI and data analysis to achieve a greater all-round performance
Artificial intelligence for smarter, faster-moving cities
Sci-fi? GeoActio has already deployed its native cloud AI and ABT solutions, ActioPredict and ActioTicket, in several cities across Spain. Using these solutions, which do not require onboard equipment, operators optimise their dimensioning, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction; citizens travel smarter and more comfortably in safer, more trustworthy public transport; and transport authorities encourage a staggered use of mobility services while gaining a wider, more in-depth view of citizen mobility habits (demand clusters, transfers, etc.). During the session, key metrics for each kind of project and city will be given: Project ROI, Net Promoter Score, Planned Value, Earned Value, and Project Gross Profit Margin.
