The fact that e-mobility is so successful in urban transport is based, among other things, on vehicles such as the MAN Lion’s City E, the international “Bus of the Year 2023”. The all-electric city bus went into series production in 2020 and is now on the road across Europe. Whether in Barcelona, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Malmö or Zurich: In many European cites, the locally emission-free bus masters urban traffic and can be easily integrated into existing processes. Since the sales launch of the Lion’s City E, MAN has signed contracts with customers for the delivery of more than 1,000 e-buses. And the trend is rising: by 2025, every second MAN city bus sold is to have an emission-free drive.
