TMB’s Bus Control and Operation Centre monitors the operation of the bus network in real time, making the necessary organizational changes and improvements to ensure buses along each line are as regularly spaced as possible to reduce waiting times. The entire fleet, more than 1,000 buses, is controlled from here.
The visit will also include a trip on one of TMB’s hydrogen buses which only emits water vapour. The incorporation of more hydrogen buses is part of TMB’s plans to decarbonize its fleet.
