A graduate in civil engineering, Cécile Texier has been Alstom’s Vice President of Sustainability & CSR since January 2018. She drives the company’s Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and policies, Carbon roadmap, local communities investment program, extra-financial reporting activities, and dialog with stakeholders . Cécile is a member of the Board of the Alstom Foundation and vice-chairman of the UITP Committee on Sustainable Development. She is also a member of EDHEC Business School International Advisory Board. She began her career in 1997 as an environmental management consultant within France’s National Institute of the Industrial Environment and Risk (INERIS).She had previous experience as Sustainable Development Manager for KPMG France from 2000 to 2005, leading assessments of environmental issues in the frame of merger and acquisition projects and verification of extra-financial data.
