Dr. Roxana Heß graduated in 2013 from the University of Konstanz with a degree in Mathematics and received a doctorate in Applied Mathematics in October 2017 from the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse. In November 2017, she joined the R&D team at INIT in Karlsruhe as Project Manager. There, she was leading research projects concerning autonomous driving, Mobility as a Service and accessible mobility. Now, she is Team Manager of the R&D Team and coordinates the research activities in the team.

Integrating automated vehicles into public transport systems is an important step for operating automated busses in efficient manners. In this talk, we present results from two research projects highlighting relevant standard interfaces for automated driving and showing a reference architecture for integrated automated vehicles. The listener gains insights into connecting system components between public transport systems and automated vehicles and the interchanged information.
