Jeremy Yap is the Deputy Chief Executive, Public Transport, Policy and Planning at the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore since 2015. He also oversees the development, procurement and regulation of public transport services, new mobility services like ride hail, bike sharing and Singapore’s National Cycling Master Plan. 
 
Jeremy is an Advocate and Solicitor of Singapore’s Supreme Court and was in legal practice before joining LTA. 
 
He was seconded to Singapore’s Ministry of Transport (2004-2007) as Deputy Director (Land) before returning to oversee the Vehicle and Transit Licensing Group as the Registrar of Vehicles till 2010.  
 
As Group Director, Policy & Planning (2010–2014), Jeremy directed the formulation, review, and implementation of land transport policies and planning of transport infrastructure and systems and was instrumental in launching the first Land Transport Master Plan.
  
Jeremy is the Chairperson for UITP’s Organising Authorities Division since 2019 and serves on its Executive Board.
