Claire is the Deputy Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer at the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF). The ITF women’s department supports ITF affiliates in organising and mobilising women transport workers to win better conditions for women transport workers around the world. Key issues include the systemic exclusion of women from decent jobs, access to decent pay, and the right to work free from violence, sexual harassment and sexual coercion. Claire leads on the gender work within the ITF global programme on public transport and actively participates in the gender working group of Sustainable Mobility for All.
