Claire has worked in the public sector in South Africa for more than 20 years. She specialises in strategic public transport planning having been involved in sustainable urban mobility plans as well as the planning and implementation of BRT in South Africa. She holds a Masters degree in Engineering in Transport Studies and currently leads the local authority team responsible for planning public transport networks for Cape Town. She is passionate about collaboration, multidisciplinary teams and putting people at the centre of planning.
