Michelle has worked in public transport and bicycle planning in the U.S., Canada and Europe. She is a Principal with Jarrett Walker & Associates, where she leads bus network redesigns and manages European projects. Her recent engagements have been in Cork and Galway, Ireland; Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.; and Tel Aviv, Israel. Before becoming a specialist in bus network design, she planned cycling infrastructure projects. As a result, she has technical expertise in network planning for both modes, and brings that unique perspective to her work for local authorities and public transport operators.
