Sylvain Haon is Sr Director Strategy & Transformation at UITP, the International Association for Public Transport, where he was previously and since September 2014 Director of Knowledge and Membership Services. Sylvain started his career at the Trade Office of the French Embassy in Rome where he was responsible for the land transport sector, public works and environment. He went on to be the head of the Brussels office of SNCF directorate for European affairs in 2000. In 2003, he joined the Polis network of cities and regions. He became Secretary General of Polis in 2006 and remained in this position until he joined UITP.
