Simon Shelley is Global Vice President of Programme Partnerships, BBC Studios, in charge of creating extraordinary content and campaigns, immersing global audiences in astounding stories from all pockets and places in society. Simon leads the multi-award-winning BBC team that is a growth area for the BBC as they focus on strategic partnerships that can further the BBC’s mission of informing, educating and entertaining audiences. He has equipped some of the world’s most well-known organisations including the WWF, WHO, Formula E, NHS and a host of FTSE 100 companies with the strategy needed to achieve their communication goals. Simon found himself adjacent to the C4 and ITV Newsrooms scaling ITN’s content business prior to the BBC, having initially cut his teeth in marketing roles at several major brands in fashion and sport having completed a Masters in Marketing at the University of Leeds.
