A trained engineer (EIGSI – ENSI) and a graduate of the European Institute of Business Administration, Fabien Felli began his career in aviation (Matra, Thalès, Airbus EADS). For 10 years, he headed the development of strategic commercial activities in Asia and central Europe, before joining POMA, a world leader in ropeway transport, as Exports Director. Bringing an innovative vision to POMA’s activities, he took over the group’s Sales and Marketing Department and led several major urban mobility projects. A member of the Management Board since 2016, he was appointed Vice President and then President of the French group in 2022. With his expert status in this growing sector, Fabien Felli is a strong advocate of a new sustainable mobility on an international scale, notably through his role as Vice-Chairman of the Sustainable City Task Force for Medef International.

    Toulouse’s 3S aerial tramway: leading the way to sustainable mobility

    Toulouse’s 3S cable car first took flight in May 2022. The long line stretching 3km (the longest in Europe in an urban area), connects Oncopole, Rangueil Hospital and Paul Sabatier University, flying over the Garonne River, all in just ten minutes, compared to 40 by car. This aerial ropeway was the obvious answer to linking up three major sites of activity in Toulouse, interwoven into the city’s existing transport network, whilst at the same time ensuring its seamless environmental integration. Across one year of operation, more than 1.6 million passengers have already used ‘Téléo’, thanks to a state-of-the-art technology that fully meets high standards of safety and availability.
