Ángeles Marín is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and since 2006 a Civil Servant in the Spanish State Administration (Information Systems and Technologies body).

Since 2012 she has been working at the former Ministry of Public Works, currently the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. Since January 2020, she has headed the Mobility Strategy Office, where she is responsible for coordinating the preparation, communication, and implementation of the Spanish Safe, Sustainable and Connected Mobility Strategy 2030, coordinating the drafting of the Law on Sustainable Mobility and coordinating the investments of the Spanish Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan within the scope of the General Secretariat of Transport and Mobility.
