Mariano works as a Director of Business Development at GIRO (the company who commercializes HASTUS, the scheduling and operations software) and also acts as the Chair of the UITP Research in Mobility Commitee. Prior to GIRO, he held different roles at software companies specialized in public transport (Goal Systems, Remix and Via Transporation) on positions that ranged from implementation specialist, sales, or responsible for the company in certain markets. He studied Mathematics and Computer Engineering and has a true passion for public transport, to which he has dedicated his entire career.
