Christian Schreyer is Group Chief Executive of The Go-Ahead Group, a leading UK-based public transport provider. The group employs more than 27,000 people operating bus and rail services connecting communities in six countries.
In the UK, Go-Ahead’s rail operation, Govia Thameslink Railway, accounts for nearly a quarter of passenger rail journeys nationally. The group is the largest operator of buses in London and outside the capital, it runs regional bus services stretching from Cornwall to Newcastle. Elsewhere in the world, the group operates buses in Singapore, Sweden and Ireland, and trains in Germany and Norway.

Christian, a German national, joined Go-Ahead in November 2021. He was previously CEO, North and Central Europe, at Transdev, the international public transport operator. Prior to that, he spent 15 years in a variety of senior operational and strategic roles at Deutsche Bahn, the German national rail operator.
