Francine Velthuizen has a 30-year experience in marketing, sales and communications in B2B and B2C environments, on French and also international levels. She has worked in several activity sectors: advertising agencies, organizing committee for 1998 football world cup, management consultancy, data management.

Beginning 2014, she joined Keolis as Marketing and Sales Director for one of their biggest French subsidiaries, in Lille, in the North of France. During more than 7 years, she has been in charge of designing the customer experience, building transport offer, creating B2C communication, modernizing passenger information, leveraging rideship and ticket sales, restructuring customer relations, listening to customer needs, finding new levers of business. She is Head of Marketing and Innovation at RATP DEV since mid-2021 and in charge of Customer Experience strategy and Innovation development through the organization.

    Better understand the varying expectations of passengers around the world – Results from RATP DEV Worldwide Passengers Survey

    In February 2023, RATP Dev has conducted a major international survey (12 territories, 7000+ interviews) in collaboration with Kantar to identify public transport benefits and passengers’ expectations around the world. Results vary widely from one region to another. We will share the key learnings of this study and discuss the impact on public transport industry: - what are the differences per geography in terms of passengers’ expectations? - how to adapt public transport services to every local context? - what are the impacts for bids and innovation agenda ?
