June 05: Latest innovations in charging and battery technology for e-buses
Introducing ABB E-mobility latest innovation in ebus charging
Introducing the latest innovation on charging technology. ABB E-mobility will announce its latest product aimed for the public transport sector. Designed to reduce the total cost of ownership of operators significant-ly Enabling a faster transition toward a sustainable future. Core of the new equipment is a brand new power cabinet, allowing 4 buses to be charged in parallel, greatly increasing the flexibility for operators. The future-proof ABB HVC 360 power cabinet supports all charging standards, from CCS to pantograph. The HVC 360’s built-in flexibility makes it easy to adapt as fleet and infrastructure requirements evolve. Flexibility and upgradability is key in this charging system. The lifetime of charging infrastructure (10 years) often exceeds the duration of a concession. Thus there is a benefit to operators / infrastructure in selecting an upgradable system.
