June 05: Technologically enhanced and accessible stations
New Model AMB bus shelter
The shelter is an urban furniture that serves as a point of reference for users, it also serves as an information point and allows shelter even in adverse weather conditions. The new shelter model has a low-consumption LED dynamic information display that warns of waiting times, service incidents and provides acoustic information for people with visual impairments. Accessibility was a key factor, it is designed to facilitate comfortable access and comply with accessibility regulations. The lighting system increases visibility and safety with a low-consumption technology, allowing 83% of savings. The shelter allows different lengths and widths to be installed in a great number of spots and increase the coverage. Finally, sustainability was also a key factor, since 95% of the shelter is manufactured with recycled materials, which will also be recyclable at the end of their life cycle.
