After studies of electrical engineering, Mirna Harms joined Siemens in 2001 as a validation engineer. After being responsible for test and validation in several metro and mainline projects, she took over responsibility for the test, integration and validation department. Today, with more than 20 years of experience in generic product development for signalling systems as well as in project execution, she is heading Trainguard MT development.

Now widely recognized as a mature automatic train control, Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) is the technology requested by mass transit authorities. The objective will be to present our Train2Cloud approach as a result of a natural evolution of the CBTC architecture.
