Mareike Rauchhaus has been managing the public affairs of nextbike GmbH for over a decade and has significantly influenced the company’s development from a micromobility pioneer to a bike-sharing market leader.
In 2019, she was portrayed in Die Zeit as one of the 100 most important young East Germans. She is board member of Cycling Industries Europe. In 2021, she initiated the founding of the Leipzig-Dresden Hub of Women in Mobility.
