  • June 06: Advanced travel information systems for easier and seamless journeys

iPIS, inclusive Passenger Information System ; because the information needs to be 100% accessible

iPIS merges the best functionalities of Iconis Security from Alstom and Navilens, for a more accessible information system, improving the capability of the operator to increase security and accessibility. iPIS benefits from the code capture performance of the Navilens mobile application. Through a link with Navilens, the operator is alerted of the user’s presence, so automatic security & information rules, such as camera pop-ups or call to staff, are launched to complement the security and information rules of the Control Centre. The use of digital codes in our screens allows a dynamic management of the information, avoiding vandalism issues and reducing long-term maintenance conditions. Digital codes are shown only when needed. The code will provide access to real-time traffic information, allowing all users the same access to information (time to arrival, incidents, platform info, etc).
