Karine Sbirrazzuoli is Senior Director of Knowledge and Innovation at UITP, responsible for a team of 35 experts, project managers and officers.
Having previously been the Secretary General of the European Association for EVs and Head of European Projects and Partnerships for Urban Foresight, Karine’s UITP career began as a Project Manager and leader of the Urban Mobility Innovation Index (UMii) project in 2016. She became Deputy Director of the newly-formed Knowledge and Innovation Department in 2018.
Karine has extensive experience in the information and communication industries, and is particularly interested in innovation and information technologies. Karine specialises in smart cities, sustainable mobility, electric vehicles, community management, e-reputation, and e-communication.
A native of France, with a career history in several European countries, Karine holds a DEA (Doctorate) in Computer Law, Masters in Private Law and ERASMUS LLM Business Law. She is currently studying for her Executive MBA.
