Manabu Umeda is a Project Researcher at Mobility Innovation Collaborative Research Organization, the University of Tokyo (UTmobI). He joined the University of Tokyo on November 2019. He was appointed Collaborative research coordinator in SIP-adus steering committee in 2020. He started his professional career as an automotive safety engineer in Nissan Motor Corporation in 1999, and worked for Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. in 2006-2009.
