Chris is Uber’s Global Head of Sustainability. This means collaborating with leaders and teams across Uber to create lasting, impactful changes in response to the climate emergency. He has helped create a number of leading partnerships and represented Uber in many high-profile external forums, including leading Uber’s delegation to COP 27. He joined Uber to establish and run the London Clean Air Plan and has overseen a 50x increase in the number of zero emissions vehicles in that time, creating the world’s largest electric on-demand service.
He has spent the last decade working with businesses and institutions on sustainability topics, helping them to be more strategic and impactful in their responses. He graduated from Magdalen College Oxford in 2009 and lives in North London with his wife and two sons.
