The vision of a green, sustainable, and connected world that enables people to go places comfortably and without harming the environment has motivated and inspired me to pursue a career in the railway industry. After graduating from my international Dual Degree Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering and Systems Engineering, I started working at Siemens Mobility. I really enjoy working alongside colleagues from all over the world and taking on new challenges driving sustainable mobility.

I am currently enrolled in a 2-year program that fosters the professional development of systems engineers in the field of railway automation. As part of this 2-year program I was involved in the research project ATO-Risk that analyzes the risks of obstacle detection for automated rail operation (GoA 3/4). I am looking forward to the opportunity to present some of our project results at the UITP summit 2023. See you there!
