The Exhibition’s World Premieres
This year, the Summit’s Exhibition featured six brand new, innovative solutions that were unveiled there for the first time as ‘World Premieres’:
EXPERIENCE, created by the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) is a service to evaluate wayfinding systems and architectural designs before they are built. Using virtual reality technologies it allows to analyse capacity, throughput, walkability and wayfinding systems.
Bytemark is an international provider of fare collection technology that delivers mobile ticketing platforms for transit, tourism, and events. Bytemark’s mobile ticketing solution allows operators to unify and coordinate the management of one or multiple brands through a comprehensive suite of reporting, payment, ticketing, and user tools.
Mastria is Alstom’s innovative multimodal system, which aims at streamlining urban transport management by improving capacity and fluidity. Mastria is designed to meet the current and future needs of “smart cities”, it can coordinate and optimise all types of public transport, from rail to road.
SubWave+, which has been developed by Syntony GNSS, offers underground highly precise location for metro staff or passengers. It works also in road tunnels context.
Travel Mode Identification (TMI), also developed by AIT, is a software solution that automatically identifies travel modes of people carrying a smartphone without any user intervention. Possible applications are e.g. simple and reliable mobility surveys and novel solutions for automated ticketing.
Zenbus delivers accurate real-time information for passengers and supervisors, directly from the driver’s smartphone. Is has already been installed on more than 50 networks in France.
